Carlos Alegria, CPA, MBA is a finance, accounting, and business development executive, with more than fifteen years of experience supporting business development, helping individuals and organizations thrive. He currently serves as Director at BDO USA. Carlos has built a robust background in financial modeling, strategic partnerships, and business development across diverse industries.

Before joining BDO USA, Carlos held leadership roles in both the private and nonprofit sectors. As Executive Director of Business Development at VizLore LLC, he played a pivotal role in scaling commercialization efforts for IoT, Blockchain, and AI technologies. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Sizmek (formerly MediaMind) and contributed to substantial operating cost savings and business growth.

In addition to his professional work, Carlos is actively involved in nonprofit governance. He serves as Treasurer and Board Member of Harvest Home Farmers Market and volunteers as a strategic planning consultancy with the NYC Alliance Against Sexual Assault. Carlos holds an MBA in Corporate Finance and Accounting from Syracuse University Martin J. Whitman School of Management and a BBA in Finance and Investments from Baruch College. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York State.
