Emerging Public Leaders Annual Report 2025

Pathways to Public Service: Creating Opportunities for Africa’s Young Leaders

Throughout 2025, we have seen tremendous growth in our network of outstanding young African leaders. With more than 700 public servants spanning Ghana, Liberia, Kenya, Malawi, and Sierra Leone, our programs and alumni working in government are creating opportunities and stronger pathways for young leaders into public service.

This year’s report spotlights the rapid and meaningful growth of our programs with the support of our many partners, and the significant impacts our Fellows have across their communities and on public policy globally. Their achievements this year are visible not only in the many stories of impact but in the deep evaluations conducted in 2025, demonstrating the impact of leadership development on service delivery, workplace integrity, and a commitment to long-term public service by high-potential graduates.

Join us in celebrating the government partners, supervisors, mentors, and young leaders who are championing good governance and shaping an equitable and prosperous future for Africa.
